Ice Climbing and Mountaineering

an ice climber prepraring to place an ice screw

Peregrine Climbing Guides is offering an ice climbing and mountaineering trip to North Conway, New Hampshire from January 21 to 25, 2012. We will begin with the basics of ice climbing, including proper equipment use and care, belaying, rappelling, and climbing technique. We will spend a few days honing skills on the many classic waterfall ice climbs near Franconia Notch. Then, conditions permitting, we will make a summit attempt on Mount Washington, the highest mountain in the northeast and home to some of the harshest weather conditions on the planet.

A trip cost of $1300 includes meals, lodging, instruction, and all necessary equipment. No prior climbing experience is necessary--just an adventurous spirit! Contact us for more information at (803) 629-6590 or info@peregrineclimbingguides.com.
